Early Reviews:
Recommended by: Elaine Fuhr, Allbooks Review:
Larry Danks, a sixty-four year old business administration professor, has experienced a second marriage, and through that experience, has developed considerable insight into the dating scene.  And along with the contributions of over a dozen female advisors, he understands more now, about how women try to find the right man.  He also realizes that for some women, there is no need to find that partner; living alone is a fine choice.  But for those who feel alone and want to have the companionship that a relationship will give, he has written a sensitive book that is meant to help women do just that.  He uses quotations from various authors and specialists throughout his book, to support the ideas that he puts forward.  Within each chapter are many subtopics that are specific to the chapter and give detailed information and advice.  The book is an easy read and very personable.  It seems that the reader is simply sitting and chatting with this man over a hot cup of coffee.

As I read through the pages, I realized that while this book is aimed at a female audience, there is a great deal of very good advice for anyone, male or female.  Topics include Evaluating Your Situation, Life After the Death of a Partner and Online Dating Sites; information useful to everyone looking for a partner, especially after experiencing past relationships.  And who couldn’t use a little advice on Defeating Hurt and Anger? This book truly has information for everyone.

So pick up Finding the Right Man For You, drift through the well- written pages and take note of the insightful advice given there.  It is a book worth reading.

Gordon Livingston, MD - Psychiatrist and Best Selling Author of How To Love and
Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart:
"Larry Danks has distilled much wisdom about the joys and hazards of finding the right partner. Women everywhere will benefit from his advice in their search for love. Drawing on his own experience and the thoughts of others, Larry has created a reassuring guide replete with great suggestions for navigating the paths to the relationships we all seek."

Synopsis:
This twenty eight chapter dating advice guide is intended to help women who are single, divorced or widowed. I firmly believe that there is a man for just about any woman who is willing to conduct a conscientious and well founded search to find him. Dating is never easy, no matter what someone's age is. And it only gets more difficult after thirty. I wrote this book to try to make the process easier and more effective.

Moving forward through more effective dating can lead you to romance and the love, partnership or marriage you desire. You don't have to be lonely. Never walk alone again, unless you want to. Visualize yourself walking along a beautiful shoreline at sunset hand in hand with the man you love. There can be a new, improved and happier you - and a happier him too.

Most women don't "need a man," but would like to find the right one to augment their happiness. Women often seek the advice of other women to help them in their search, but rarely get a male perspective. Let a man's perspective help you.

Finding The Right Man For You
helps women evaluate their current situation, provides support in dealing with divorce or the death of a partner, addresses fear and self-doubt, recommends what to look for in a man, provides perspectives on sex and intimacy, offers many suggestions on how to meet men, recommends online dating tips and offers guidance in answering dating questionnaires and in writing personal statements.

Further recommendations are provided on dating for women who have children and work pressures, personal and financial safety, how to guard against men who lie, health and dating, finding happiness with or without a man, finding love and romance, and ultimately making a decision about a man.

The book has been reviewed in its entirety, or in part, by female reviewers and advisors who have offered their valuable insights, experiences and wise counsel. Finding The Right Man For You  is motivational and supportive, and provides inspiration through many memorable stories and powerful quotations.
